Not every venue uses every part of NexReps. A nightclub has no chef and no kitchen stock; a lunch counter has one service. Under Settings → Venues, open a venue and scroll past its service hours: three blocks decide what that venue uses. Each switch is saved the moment you click it.
- 1Modules: Inventory, Insights and Accounting, on or off for this venue.
- 2Sales by service: the day split by service.
- 3Item Sales categories: which categories Item Sales shows for this venue.
Daily Notes
Which kinds of note the venue offers — briefing, service, kitchen and the rest. Everything starts on. A venue that never serves lunch has no AM notes to write; turning them off keeps the note picker short. Only an organization admin changes it.
Modules
Inventory — invoices, recipes, food cost, counts, product reports, the chef dashboard and the chef emails.
Insights — AI forecast, peak hours, goals and smart alerts.
Accounting — this venue in the Accounting section.
A module turned off is not hidden in a corner: the venue is no longer offered on that module’s pages, and nothing runs for it in the background. Its data is kept. Turn it back on and everything is where you left it. A page whose module is off on every one of your venues shows that you have no access to it.
Sales by service
Off by default. On, Daily, the GM daily email and the PDFs show the day per service — Lunch, Dinner — using the venue’s service hours. Leave it off for a club or a one-service venue. What it shows: Sales by service.
Chef slot
When Inventory is on: what the chef’s kitchen tab opens on the phone — Order or Inventory Count. Pick the one your chef does most from the phone.
Item Sales categories
Which major categories the venue shows on Item Sales and its exports. A nightclub wants its drinks and no empty food tab; a restaurant may not want its bar on the chef’s screen. A category turned off is left out of Item Sales for this venue. Sales totals never change.
