Settings → Configuration starts with what reaches you: report emails and notifications. These settings are yours alone. The organization’s thresholds and comparison basis, below them, are the admin’s — see Configuration.

The rows of Notifications come from your role; the grey lines stand for them.

Email Reports

Daily Report — a daily sales summary every morning at 7am. Weekly Report — a weekly summary every Monday at 7am.

The switch is the only choice: you cannot pick sections or change the time. What is in the email follows from your role and your venue access. A cook gets no report email, and sees no Email Reports card.

Notifications

Push on this device — turns push on or off on the phone or computer you are using. It says Enabled, Disabled, or Not supported on this browser. Turning it on here does nothing for your other devices: turn it on on each one.

On iPhone, NexReps must be on your home screen before push works at all. See Install the app.

Sales figures in notifications — on, the push shows the amounts (net sales, discounts, voids). Off, it says a report or an alert is ready, without amounts — better on a phone that others can see.

Then one switch per kind of notification, grouped under Reports, Sales alerts, System and Kitchen. You only see the kinds your role receives. A switch governs both the push and the list in the app; a line marked In the app only never pushes.

If your role has none, the card says No notification is set up for your role.

Choosing what to turn on

A daily report by email and a daily report by push are the same content, twice. Pick one.

Sales alerts fire when something is wrong, and only if the thresholds are set honestly. A phone that buzzes forty times a day is a phone nobody reads.
