NexReps is not in the App Store or on Google Play. You install it from the browser, in about ten seconds. It then behaves like any other app: an icon on your home screen, full screen, no address bar.
iPhone / iPad
Safari only. Chrome on iOS cannot install web apps — Apple does not allow it.
- Open app.nexreps.com in Safari
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow, at the bottom)
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
- Tap Add
The icon appears on your home screen.
Android
- Open app.nexreps.com in Chrome
- Chrome usually offers Install app on its own — tap it
- If not: menu (⋮, top right) → Install app or Add to Home screen
Desktop
Chrome and Edge show an install icon in the address bar. Click it and NexReps opens in its own window, without browser chrome.
Why not a real app?
Because you would have to update it. This way, every time you open NexReps you have the current version — no store review, no "update available", no half your team running last month's build.
Everything works the same: it is the same app, in a window without an address bar.
Notifications
Push notifications work on installed apps only — an alert cannot reach you through a browser tab that is closed.
On iPhone, this means you must add NexReps to your home screen before notifications will work at all. Apple requires it.
Once installed, enable them in Settings → Notifications inside NexReps, then accept the browser prompt.
Troubleshooting
No "Add to Home Screen" on iPhone — you are not in Safari. Chrome, Firefox and in-app browsers cannot do this on iOS.
Chrome does not offer to install — you may already have it installed. Check your app drawer.
The icon opens Safari instead of the app — it was added as a bookmark, not as a web app. Delete it and start again from the Share menu.
