The cook's day

A Cook works at one venue. NexReps gives him his kitchen list and the recipes he follows — no sales figure, no cost, no email.

My Kitchen

The cook's home, on the phone and on the desktop alike: what is offered to him by a colleague, anything overdue, then Today, This week and Later. Each line shows Prep or Task, the item, and its status — Urgent in red comes first.

Doing the work

Open an item. Validate marks it done — with the quantity actually made for a prep. Recipe opens the prep's recipe with the quantity the chef asked for already set. Note writes to the chef. Transfer offers the item to a colleague, who has 30 minutes to accept; otherwise it stays with the first cook.

Recipes

The cook reads every preparation and recipe of his venue, without costs. I need rescales the ingredients to the quantity he has to make — on screen only, nothing is saved.

Notifications

A new item assigned to him, a transfer offered or accepted, a note from the chef. An urgent item says URGENT first.

Who manages cooks

A chef adds and deletes the cooks of his venue from Settings → Team. Everything else about an account — another venue, another role — is the organization admin's. See Roles explained.
