A cook reads every recipe and preparation of his venue — without costs. The recipe opens in read mode: no cost, no wastage, no menu link, nothing to edit.
Open one from Recipes in the bottom bar (on the desktop, from Kitchen → Recipes), or from a prep with Recipe.
I need
Under the yield, I need rescales the ingredients to the amount you have to make. Type the amount and choose its unit: × Times (2 = a double batch), the recipe’s yield unit, or its second yield unit when it has one. Every ingredient below follows.
Opened from a prep, I need is already set to what the chef asked for.
Nothing is saved for anyone else: the amount stays on your device until the end of the service day. Reset goes back to the recipe as written.
| Ingredient | Quantity |
|---|---|
| San Marzano tomatoes | 10 KG |
| Olive oil | 400 ML |
| Garlic | 240 G |
| Basil | 120 G |
- 1I need: the amount to make.
- 2Its unit: × Times, the yield unit or the second yield unit.
- 3Reset: back to the recipe as written.
On the phone, the same field sits under Yield, Ready in and Keeps, above Ingredients.
- 1I need on the phone, with its unit and Reset.
Recipes you do not see
A chef can hide out-of-season recipes from every list, cooks included, with recipe labels. If a recipe is missing, ask your chef. See Recipe labels.
