A chef who receives preps and tasks has his own list next to the venue’s: Assigned to me, first in Prep & Tasks. It holds what was given to you, in every venue you work in, each against its own venue’s business day.

- 1Your items, by period: Overdue, Today, This week, Later.
- 2With several venues, the venue shows under each item.
Doing an item
Click a row. The sheet shows the day, what to make and who gave it to you. For a prep, enter what you made in Made and Validate. Note writes to the chef; Recipe opens the recipe scaled to the amount asked. The venue’s whole list — creating, assigning, cancelling — stays on the Preps and Tasks pages.
On your phone
Tap Tasks in the bottom bar and choose Assigned to me. It has tabs Preps and Tasks and the same periods. Kitchen, next to it, is the venue’s whole list.
- 1Assigned to me: your own items. Kitchen: the venue’s list, where you create and assign.
No list?
If you do not see Assigned to me, your account does not receive preps and tasks: your organization admin turned off Receives preps & tasks on it, usually for an executive chef. You still plan and assign on the Preps and Tasks pages; nobody can give you an item. On the phone, Tasks goes straight to Kitchen.
A chef who receives items is also told about them in a morning notice.
